The horizontal priority of “Open and innovative education, training and youth work, embedded in the digital era” was chosen as the most relevant for the proposed project (GEO-ERGON PAIDEIA). One of the main objectives of the project is to set up online courses, available through an e-learning platform, on eco-farming and start-up business. The field of studies is innovative as it is addressed to school students in rural areas and entrepreneurship courses in the secondary education are not mandatory. Apart from the students, all the stakeholders will benefit from the project’s intellectual outputs. The outputs involve handbooks, guidelines and educational material which are considered to be of general interest to the professionals and the public and there will accessible through the platform, while an open-access policy will be maintained.
